Development of Standard Operating Process (SOP)

Process/Procedures, explain the “how.” They provide step-by-step instructions for specific routine tasks. They may even include a checklist or process steps to follow. But at the very least, your procedures should outline the following information:

  • Who is responsible for each task
  • Explains the rule, not how to implement the rule
  • Who the responsible party reports to
